Mr Alavi studied Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Management in the USA. He has more than 25 years experience in general management, technology development in the fields of aerospace, environmental engineering, telecommunications and high altitude platform systems. He has created more than a dozen patents in these fields.
Mr Alavi was elected by the Swiss Cash magazine as one of the country's best inventors and nominated Entrepreneur of the year 2000 by Ernst & Young in USA. Mr Alavi has also received the Republican Presidential Medal of Honor.
